A collaboration With Time Container
This vase is inspired by pre-Colombian containers from 500 B.C from the region Quimbaya, Colombia. Such beautiful containers were used to store coca leaves and were always made of gold. The Gold Museum in Bogotá, Colombia houses a big collection of these containers and the craft and technique that went into them is mesmerizing.
Carved in wax and casted in sterling silver, Daniella recreated part of the vase to symbolize time. The shape is harmonious, and it feels very good to hold on too and bring a sense of groundness. Named after Daniella's personal project A Collaboration With Time, this vase represents time. We invite you to insert a little note inside with that such thing that you want to have more time for. For Daniella, it was art.
The pendant is suspended on a long cotton cord with silver teardrop caps that you can adjust to your desired length. Wear it as a belt, choker or necklace, and keep it around to be your reminder and your alarm, to make time for what makes your soul happy.
